Submissions for sphere 67 are closed

Sphere is no longer accepting poetry, fiction, or creative nonfiction submissions for its 2023 edition. We will be accepting art submissions until January 31, 2023.

Art:

• Please submit a photograph of your submission along with an artist’s statement.
• Maximum of 250 words (artist’s statement)
• We accept art from any medium that is able to be reproduced in a printed journal.

Sphere is no longer accepting fiction, creative nonfiction, or poetry submissions for its 2023 edition. If you are interested in submitting your work in the future, please reference our 2023 submission guidelines below:

Fiction:

• 12-point font, double-spaced, with numbered pages 
• Maximum of 4,000 words
• We welcome literary fiction submissions that incorporate experimental or genre elements, but we generally do not publish pure genre fiction (sci-fi, horror, fantasy, etc.). 

Creative Nonfiction:

• 12-point font, double-spaced, with numbered pages 
• Maximum of 4,000 words
• We accept memoirs and personal essays.

Poetry:

• 12-point font, double-spaced, with numbered pages 
• Maximum of 250 lines
• We accept poems of any style or genre
